Dawn Throne has spent her career in family law, and is one of only 38 certified family law specialists in the state of Nevada. She loves the personal nature of family law cases, and works tirelessly to advocate for her clients’ best interests and help them achieve positive outcomes.
Life experience has only furthered Dawn’s passion for the law. Not only has she represented hundreds of families in all areas of family law, she’s been there. She has gone through a divorce of her own, been in custody battles for her step son and even taken on the challenge of raising teenagers.
Dawn spends her spare time caring for her child, husband and her Rottweiler, Elsa. She enjoys downtime and strenuous workouts at the gym, but her true passion is for the law. For Dawn, family law is more than just a profession – it’s a calling.
Experience in the Nevada Family Law Courts

Dawn is our resident expert on TPOs (temporary protection orders).
Dawn has represented clients in all areas of family law, including family law appeals, guardianship, estate planning and probate. Before founding the firm, she gained experience in limited civil litigation, business and commercial litigation, bankruptcy, employment law and probate, estate and trust litigation and medical malpractice defense. She has worked at all levels of family law, including making arguments before the entire Nevada Supreme Court.
